Central Sanskrit University × BRC
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Srimad Bhagavatam
Puranic Hermeneutics, Vaishnava Theology, and Literary Aesthetics.
A Historic Milestone in Vedic Education
In an unprecedented academic collaboration, the Bhaktivedanta Research Centre (BRC) has partnered with Central Sanskrit University (CSU) India’s premier, multi-campus global Sanskrit university to offer fully accredited Master of Arts (M.A.) programs specializing in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.
This program bridges thousands of years of profound eastern theology with rigorous, contemporary academic research standards. Designed for scholars, practitioners, and leaders alike, these courses offer a structured, deep-dive examination of India’s foundational text frameworks.
Nearly 50 years after Srila Prabhupada envisioned recognized university degrees in Vedic studies, that vision is now a reality. You can read his original, historic directive regarding academic recognition in his Letter to Tusta Krsna (1976) on Vedabase.
